The setting
A lawn by the sea is somewhere guests sit for an hour, not five minutes. The Riviera Deck Chair has a fan back of wide boards, a low sloping seat and broad flat armrests that take a mug or a book.
The Picnic Round Folding Table is small and light: the top splits in two and folds down, so it can be carried to wherever the chairs have been moved. Every frame is solid plantation teak, kiln dried to 12% and joined mortise-and-tenon with teak pegs; the hardware is stainless steel 304, or 316 for sites by the sea. Left unoiled the teak weathers to silver-grey; oiled once a season it keeps its honey colour.
Both ship knock-down and take very little space in a container.
