The setting
A roof terrace is narrow, windy and often has to be cleared for maintenance. The Tapez Folding Arm Chair has a tall slatted back, flat armrests and crossed legs that fold flat, and the Round Parabola Table DM70 folds away beside it.
The table top has a wide rim around an octagonal panel crossed by a centre band, so it reads as a solid piece even at 70 cm. Every frame is solid plantation teak, kiln dried to 12% and joined mortise-and-tenon with teak pegs; the hardware is stainless steel 304, or 316 for sites by the sea. Left unoiled the teak weathers to silver-grey; oiled once a season it keeps its honey colour.
All of it ships knock-down, flat in cartons.
