The setting
Garden events need long tables that can be set up and taken down by a small team. The Simple Rectangular Table has a plain top of long boards on four square legs, and four of them end to end seat twenty-four.
The Hanton Folding Chair has a back of horizontal slats and crossed folding legs, and folds flat for storage between events. Every frame is solid plantation teak, kiln dried to 12% and joined mortise-and-tenon with teak pegs; the hardware is stainless steel 304, or 316 for sites by the sea. Left unoiled the teak weathers to silver-grey; oiled once a season it keeps its honey colour.
Tables and chairs ship knock-down; the chairs take very little volume each, which is why a large event set fits in a small share of a container.
