Arjuna Jati is a manufacturer, not a trading house. Everything we sell is milled, jointed, finished, inspected and loaded on our own two-hectare site in Pakis Aji, Jepara. We do not broker other workshops’ production and we do not sell through agents — which is why the person answering your specification question is the person who can walk to the bench and look at it.

That has been the whole business since 1997: keep the work on one floor, keep the margin that used to sit with the broker, and put it into the kiln, the hardware and the timber instead.

One workshop in Bulungan, Pakis Aji, since 1997 — to eight containers a month across five continents.

How it got here

  1. 1997

    Muh Hasim opens the workshop

    Muh Hasim opens a teak workshop in Bulungan, Pakis Aji — the same ground the factory stands on today. It has never moved, and it has never brokered another workshop’s production.

  2. 1998

    The first container

    A year in, an order that came through a friend fills the first container, loaded on our own yard. Export has been the work ever since.

  3. 2012

    SVLK verification

    Indonesia’s timber legality system is audited on our chain from concession to export. We have held the verification since 2012.

  4. 2024

    EUDR documentation

    Plot-level due-diligence packs — supplier declarations, geolocation, harvest records, risk assessment — start shipping with the goods rather than on request.

  5. 2026

    8+ containers a month

    78+ craftsmen on the floor, shipping to five continents, and a stand at IFEX in Jakarta.

Where we are

In Bulungan, Pakis Aji, on the Jepara–Lebak road: two hours from Semarang (Tanjung Emas), the port that loads you, and ninety minutes from the airport. Visits are by appointment and we will collect you.
